Certified Kanban Training

STATIK Workshop

The STATIK Workshop (Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban) is a hands-on course that teaches you how to design a Kanban system from the ground up—directly aligned with your team’s or organization’s context and challenges.

Description

Through a structured step-by-step method, you’ll learn to analyze work, model flow, define classes of service, and build a Kanban system that reflects customer needs and supports real improvement.

This workshop provides practical tools and techniques to initiate Kanban with purpose—and the confidence to do it collaboratively with your team.

STATIK steps

  • Define your service
  • Identify sources of dissatisfaction (internal/external)
  • Analyze demand
  • Analyze capabilities
  • Map the workflow(s)
  • Identify classes of service
  • Design the Kanban system (board, policies, ...)

Systems Thinking

Systems thinking in STATIK means viewing the entire work system as a connected whole, rather than focusing on isolated roles or tasks. It helps uncover how demand, policies, dependencies, and feedback loops interact to affect flow and outcomes. This holistic perspective ensures that the Kanban system addresses root causes and real service needs, not just surface-level symptoms.
